I have an extensive background both working in leading global technology corporations including Amazon, Sony and Deloitte coupled with entrepreneurial experience with technology startups and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, USA. Within these roles I have worked in both the U.K. and the U.S. on launching strategic, disruptive technologies.
I started out originally as a software developer and manager for 7 years at Deloitte building systems for technology, media and consumer goods clients. After my MBA I worked in strategic investment and M&A at Sony Corp of America where we invested in promising technology companies that aligned with Sony’s strategic goals. Following that I returned to the UK to launch Kindle in the UK for Amazon and after a highly successful launch I supported the teams in Germany, France and Spain in their subsequent roll-outs. Most recently I was director for 6 years at Optalysys, an optical processing chip startup, and was responsible for defining and executing the company strategy, strategic partnerships, funding, shareholder management and growing the team including establishing a US subsidiary office.
My passion is working with technology entrepreneurs and scale-ups advising on their growth strategy and how to build solid foundations for that growth. I advise, coach and support these companies on growth strategy, organisation design and innovation strategy. So if you are looking to take your technology company to the next level, I’d love to chat!
