Module 1

The fundamentals of managing

In this introduction discover what the word ‘managing’ actually means and understand the critical impact manging has on people, the bottom line and company success. Consider different manager styles — and those to avoid and the key issues involved in direct reports. The importance of building open trusting relationships, understanding individual strengths, different learning styles and having great 1:1s is also examined in depth
Module 2

Coaching and delegating

Managers who are skilled in coaching achieve high levels of team performance. In this module learn the fundamentals of what it means to coach and how this is vital in successfully managing teams. The importance and art of delegation is also discussed; what stops people from delegating, and how to delegate effectively to ensure teams are empowered.

Module 3

Delivering feedback

Providing feedback is a skill and needs to be learnt by people who want to be great managers. Learn how to provide powerful feedback that raises performance, as well as overcoming potential awkward conversations and hurdles.
