Business Growth Coach Network is a collective of mentors and coaches. They have a wealth of experience across all sectors. Each brings their own area of expertise and specialism, which means BGCN has the perfect match for you and your business. And now, thanks to the Start, Build and Grow Business programme, in partnership with Ipswich Borough Council, AMS Business Consultants and the University of Suffolk, you can access those services for free.

Start, Build and Grow is a fantastic coaching and business support programme to help Ipswich entrepreneurs.
Whether you have a business idea you would like to get off the ground, or a young start-up (less than 12 months) you need help establishing and growing, this programme can help you.
Free coaching and business support for local entrepreneurs This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK by investing in communities and places, supporting local businesses, and people and skills. What services can you access through the Start, Build and Grow programme?
This programme gives you access to a mix of face-to-face, and online support.
This includes:
- Tailored support bespoke to you and your business
- Telephone induction and enrolment session to get to know what you want, and
need. - Online resources such as business plan templates, financial planning templates and guidance documents
- Support groups with peers
- Group workshops led by our mentors and coaches
- 1-2-1 mentoring and coaching
- Start-up support
How do you qualify?
This free programme is for businesses based in Ipswich, for businesses that are under 12 months old – or not yet launched. Our focus is Ipswich businesses which want to Start, Build and Build. We want you to succeed – and this funded programme is a great opportunity to get the support you need.
